Globalization processes rapidly advance information and communications technologies that influence social, economic, and cultural changes and transform consumers' needs and buying behavior in online shopping. Business sector organizations operating in a dynamic environment have to adjust to the environment's uncertainty, consider the changing needs of consumers and find effective and efficient ways to create a unique value for them. However, researchers and business practitioners have different interpretations and assessments of the factors influencing end-user purchasing behavior in the internet space. Therefore, the main problem area is how to assess which approach more comprehensively reflects and conveys the online market reality related to consumer buying behavior. This study examines these issues by combining various researchers' and business practitioners' positions to assess factors influencing consumers' decision-making in online shopping. This study aims to evaluate the critical factors related to e-shop characteristics and the product features that significantly impact consumer buying behavior in online shopping. Scientific literature review showed that the most crucial e-shop characteristics are e-shop design, e-shop informativeness, e-shop convenience, e-shop security, and e-shop popularity. From product features' perspectives, scientists and business practitioners mainly focus on product design and packaging, price, brand, customer reviews, and delivery time. Research methods such as scientific literature analysis, survey (structured questionnaire), correlation, and regression analysis were used to achieve the research goal. The survey results demonstrated that Lithuanian customers prefer traditional shopping compared to online purchases. As a result, the investigation results indicate that online purchases in Lithuania are still a growing market. Depending on survey results, the most crucial e-shop characteristics affecting Lithuanian customer buying behavior in online shopping were identified as e-shop design and e-shop security. Furthermore, the most influencing product features related to customer buying behavior in online shopping were product design and packaging, product price. Correlation and regression analysis proved that significant factors are e-shop design, e-shop security, product design and packaging, product price, and customer reviews for Lithuanian buyers in online shopping.

The object of this study is the acoustic field generated by aerodynamic acoustic generators of various types and designs. Six types of aerodynamic acoustic generators were studied experimentally and theoretically to determine the parameters of their generated acoustic field. It was established that the aerodynamic Hartmann type sound generator produces the necessary for acoustic particle agglomeration acoustic field and can be used in acoustic air cleaning equipment. It was established that classical theoretical calculation methods underestimate the design features of aerodynamic acoustic generators and cannot be used to calculate their characteristics.

Members from different generations create challenges for marketing specialists due to their unique behaviour specifics and in the context of constant technology development, these challenges become only harder. In the current marketing situation, there is a new challenge – outreach and interest for generation Y consumers. A question arises – which means to apply and which of them would be effective. It is a new field of research both for scientists and marketing practitioners. The article analyses the members of generation Y because in their case there are most prominent scientific discovery inquiries on their behaviour and marketing management decisions. By evaluating that, the aim of the article is to create a model of the influence of social media for generation Y consumer purchase decisions. The need to offer a new model has appeared due to the changes in the current world that are changing the habits and features of the society, constantly improving technologies are changing the lifestyle, values and needs of people. The marketing decisions that were applied before are not presenting the desired results in the current market. Previous research allows identifying the specifics of generation Y, however, due to constantly changing technology environment it is not clearly known how this generation makes the decisions to purchase something. When wishing to find the right way to sell products and services to this generation, it is necessary to understand it and to find ways to communicate with it. When creating social media content and creating added value to the customers, it is vital to understand the complexity of the external and internal factors that determine their choice to buy. To achieve the goal of this article, the theoretical part presents a complex analysis of factors that determine consumer behaviour in social media, applications of generation theory for making marketing decisions; characteristics of generation Y were identified. In this research, marketing factors that influence the consumer’s decision to buy were analysed, their effects and application in the purchase process of generation Y consumers were evaluated.

A method of reducing load oscillations that occur when overhead crane reaches destination position is presented in the article. The use of control drive scheme of crane bridge and trolley that ensures a smooth phase trajectory transition of the load to the optimum trajectory in accordance with Pontryagin's maximum principle is proposed. Mentioned control system changes the magnitude or direction of the traction force at the moment when the load is located above the destination. It is found that the degree of change of the traction force depends on the hoisting rope deviation angle from vertical. This study was conducted in order to provide more accurate and fast handling of loads by overhead crane.

It is shown that the linear resistivity dependence on temperature for metals above the Debye’s temperature mainly is caused by electron-electron scattering of randomly moving electrons. The electron mean free path in metals at this temperature range is in inverse proportion to the effective density of randomly moving electrons, i.e. it is in inverse proportion both to the temperature, and to the density-of-states at the Fermi surface. The general relationships for estimation of the average diffusion coefficient, the average velocity, mean free length and average relaxation time of randomly moving electrons at the Fermi surface at temperatures above the Debye’s temperature are presented. The effective electron scattering cross-sections for different metals also are estimated. The calculation results of resistivity dependence on temperature in the range of temperature from 1 K to 900 K for Au, Cu, Mo, and Al also are presented and compared with the experimental data. Additionally in temperature range from 1 K to 900 K for copper, the temperature dependences of the mean free path, average diffusion coefficient, average drift mobility, average Hall mobility, average relaxation time of randomly moving electrons, and their resultant phonon mediated scattering cross-section are presented.

This study identifies and prioritizes the critical success factors that influence construction projects performance in Lithuania. A 71 critical success factor were identified and grouped into seven major groups. These factors were assembled into a questionnaire survey and distributed to 30 construction professionals and experts from 12 construction companies who have projects management knowledge and related experience. The data were processed by expert judgment. The results reveal 10 critical success factors for the success of construction projects performance.

The measurement results of acoustic field parameters above electroplating bath, in presence of water vapour, are analyzed in this work. Suction was created by means of side exhausters. It is obtained that the sound field generator generated a sound level of 130–140 dB at frequency interval between 1 and 10 kHz. It is shown that aerosol coagulation and precipitation processes are intensified under the mentioned conditions. The concentration of vapour and other aerosols in removal air decreases as a result, therefore air cleaning equipment costs can be reduced and cleaning efficiency increased.
