An increasing number of tourist accommodations are proactively altering their operations to incorporate more sustainable practices, reflecting the massive interest in consumers’ green purchasing. Despite the widespread interest in eco-friendly consumer behavior, few studies have applied the value-belief-norm (VBN) theory to the tourist accommodation sector, and its cross-cultural validity remains underexplored. Specifically, this study incorporated green trust into the original VBN model to gain a comprehensive understanding of consumers’ decision-making processes. Data was collected through an online survey from 2038 tourists in Lithuania, Spain, and Norway. Structural equation modeling was applied to test the hypotheses, revealing significant causal relationships between the constructs of green consumer values, subjective knowledge, attitude, personal norms, green trust, and green purchasing behavior. Personal norms were found to play a crucial role in influencing green trust, which in turn impacts green purchasing behavior in all three countries. These findings underscore the importance of tourism businesses in strengthening environmental education, fostering trust through eco-labeling and certifications, and developing market-specific strategies that align with travelers’ values and norms.

The research examined how green marketing perception affects tourists' green purchasing behaviour, using the stimulus-organism-response (SOR) framework, with green marketing perception as the stimulus and green trust and concern as the organism, leading to purchasing intention and actual behaviour as the response. It identified green trust and concern as mediators and age as a potential moderator. Data were collected through a non-probability, web-based self-administered survey of 693 tourists who had visited the Canary Islands within the previous 12 months. The data were analysed using Partial Least Squares Structured Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0, chosen for its suitability for predictive and complex models. The results confirmed that green marketing perception significantly predicted purchase intention (β=0.441, p<0.001), green trust (β=0.295, p<0.001), and green concern (β=0.644, p<0.001). In turn, green trust (β=0.170, p<0.001) and green concern (β=0.289, p<0.001) both positively influenced purchase intention, while purchase intention strongly predicted actual behaviour (β=0.656, p<0.001). The study supported a direct relationship between green marketing perception and tourists' green purchase intention and identified green concern as a partial mediator (β=0.186, p<0.001; VAF=29.6%). It was also discovered that the impact of perceived green marketing on green concern is comparatively weaker among younger tourists. The study's findings have important implications for green marketers, highlighting the need for tourist accommodations to prioritise environmental concerns and motivate young people to turn their green purchase intention into action.

Serious environmental problems occur as a result of the unconscious production and use of energy. Hence, there is a strong need to develop an effective energy culture to provide sustainability for the energy investments. This study aims to identify the influence directions of dimensions and criteria for energy culture in emerging economies for sustainable energy investments. For this purpose, a multi-criteria decision-making model is proposed based on 2-tuple linguistic values and interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets. The weighting results of energy culture are also evaluated for E7 economies. The findings demonstrate that energy companies should consider investing in technologies, assets, and objects which enable to reproduce energy usage. Furthermore, the analysis revealed that there is a misalignment of practices with material culture and norms what creates the potential for behavior change of consumers. Finally, the potential of bigger countries for investment opportunities in sustainable energies has been disclosed by ranking emerging economies. The results let us provide insights into development of energy investments by considering strategic priorities of energy culture in emerging economies. The novelty of this paper is to define a set of criteria and dimensions for the strategic priorities of energy culture in emerging economies and construct a novel decision-making technique with DEMATEL and TOPSIS based on 2-tuple and interval-valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets.

For a competitive organisation, it is important to invest in employee’s education to keep their knowledge up to date and ensure continuous growth in terms of employees’ competence and skills. Continuous learning is considered as one of the success factors for the organisation, since this ensures constant growth of employees’ competence that results in productiveness and effectiveness in its product development. Nowadays, more and more organisations are investing in performance analytics, Big Data analytics, artificial intelligence and process automation that are strongly related. However, such initiatives and projects can fail due to the lack of skills and competence of employees, which is strongly related to certain learning barriers. Therefore, the objective of the article is to create a conceptual framework for the elimination of learning-related barriers. The methods employed in this research are scientific literature analysis, synthesis and logical analysis of information, comparison of information, systemisation and visualisation. The conceptual framework illustrates the learning process for learning-related barriers elimination and suggests learning solutions: e-learning, mentoring, in house sessions, generic courses and external training solutions such as conferences and seminars.

In this study, the authors have investigated supply and demand drug shortage causes and highlighted the collaborative business model in solving drug shortages. The aim of this research is to build a collaborative business model helping to investigate how to deal with drug shortages. The authors have included employee and patient relationship into collaborative business model. Following the analysis of the evolution of the term "business model", it is noted that the evolution of the term is closely linked to the development of B2(B2B) (McGlinchey and Toews 2017). In scientific literature there are mentioned more than 50 elements of the concept structure of the business model. In the study authors provided patient-centric business model and selected 9 main structure elements connected to the areas of key resources, key activities, and value system. The study consists of three parts. In the first one, the paper discloses the concept of a business model and the evolution of business models. In the second part, address the importance of links between distribution channel partners to solve drug shortage causes in distribution channel. The legal regulation provided in a good practice of supply of medicine in the chain and the right of the patients were highlighted to access to the goods and services. In the third part, the application of business model scenario in the pharma sector that might guarantee high level of protection of human health is presented. Herein several medical distribution channel scenarios are compared and their influence on drug shortage is presented. The research study is based on time horizon and event tree analysis.

The paper aims to summarise the experience of working with special English lexis and reveal the benefits of a text-oriented course in leaching English tor Specific Purposes (ESP) to the engineering students, to whom English is a foreign language. The use of different approaches to lexis is based on the practice Oi working with the lexis meant for teaching ESP to the civil engineering students in VGTU.The paper provides an opportunity to follow the Steps of a text-based course through the examples from the book tailored to the needs of the engineering Students. The choice of the tasks was firstly determined by the need of the explicit learning of L2 grammar integrated into the specific content serving as a further springboard for production. In the theoretical part of the paper the possibilities of a text-based leaching leading to linguistic and communicative knowledge are approached through the relevant L2 teaching methods considering meaning and form. The suggested strategies is an attempt to seek the ways of more effective ESP learning meeting the needs of the learner.
