Pagrindinis šio darbo tikslas - įvertinti Vilniaus miesto plėtrą Vilniaus rajono teritorijoje, išanalizuoti plėtros kryptis ir modelius, remiantis teritorijų planavimo ir kitais dokumentais (Vilniaus rajono bendruoju ir strateginiais planais, Lietuvos Respublikos teritorijos bendruoju planu, įstatymais, statistiniais duomenimis, Valstybinės teritorijų planavimo ir statybos inspekcijos prie Aplinkos ministerijos informacija bei kitais siūlomais tyrimo metodais).Darbe apžvelgta urbanizacijos ir jos procesų raida: išnagrinėti šiuo metu vykstantys intensyvūs suburbanizaciniai ir ruralurbanizaciniai procesai Vilniaus apylinkėse; išanalizuotos dabartinės miestų regionų kūrimosi priežastys; įvertinti miestų ir aplinkinių teritorijų modeliai.ArcView geografinių - informacinių sistemų pagalba atlikta Vilniaus miesto plėtros Vilniaus rajone analizė: galima Vilniaus miesto plėtra ištirta demografiniu, nepertraukiamo užstatymo, vidutinės žemės rinkos vertės ir kitais aspektais.Darbe pateikiamos išvados susijusios su galima Vilniaus miesto plėtra Vilniaus rajono teritorijoje.
The main purpose of this work is to analyse how the city of Vilnius develops in the district of city area, to find out the courses and models (with reference to Vilnius district, general and strategic plans, the territory of the Republic of Lithuania the general plan legislation, statistical information, State territorial planning and construction inspectorate under the ministry of environment of Republic of Lithuania and other proposed methods for testing.The work includes the review of urbanization and development of its processes, the analysis of intensive suburbanization and ruralbanization processes, the reasons of current development of the city regions; the estimate of models of cities and their surrounding territories.The analysis of identification of theVilnius city region was perfomed with the help of ArcView geografical - information system. It includes the aspects of demografic, an uninterrupted built-up, the average value of land market, the intensity of traffic, etc.The conclusion presents the expansion of the Vilnius city to Vilnius district teritory.
