Baigiamajame magistro darbe „Meno centrų architektūra: meno centras Gargžduose” nagrinėjama meno centrų architektūra, jų tipologija ir istorinė raida, taip pat poveikis miestams, bendruomenėms ir kultūrai. Tiriama, kaip kultūriniai judėjimai keitė mus supantį pasaulį ir kaip šių judėjimų principus galima taikyti projektuojant inovatyvų menų centrą Lietuvos regionuose.Meno centrai kuria terpę bendruomenėms telktis, skatinti diskusijas, stiprinti ryšį tarp žmogaus, meno ir kultūros. Tokie centrai tampa atviromis erdvėmis, kuriose menas yra lengvai prieinamas visiems. Tokioje aplinkoje gimsta ne tik asmeninis ryšys su menu, bet ir vystosi miesto identitetas.Atsižvelgiant į šiuos pagrindinius meno centrų architektūros principus, projektuojamas menų centras mažame Lietuvos mieste gali tapti reikšmingu kultūros židiniu - ne tik miestui, bet ir visam regionui, prisidedančiu prie urbanistinio ir bendruomeninio atgimimo.
The final master's thesis ”Architecture of Art Centers: Art Center in Gargždai” explores the architecture of art centers, their typology and historical development, as well as their impact on cities, communities, and culture. The study examines how cultural movements have transformed the world around us and how the principles of these movements can be applied when designing an innovative art center in a Lithuanian regional city.Art centers create a space for communities to come together, spark discussions, and connect people with art and culture. They achieve this by offering an accessible environment where art becomes part of everyday life, fostering a relationship not only between individuals and art, but also between the community and the city that shares this art.Taking into account these core architectural principles of art centers, the newly proposed art center in a small Lithuanian town has the potential to become a cultural hub not only for the city itself, but for the entire region-contributing to the development of both the local community and the urban environment.
