Darbo apimtis - 65 p. teksto be priedų, 56 paveikslai, 11 lentelių, 28 bibliografiniai šaltiniai, 2 priedai.
The paper investigates flexible supports (FS) and the flexible support system (FSS) consisting of them. Three types of FS were examined, and their featuring flexible elements were different materials used in construction. The elastic modulus of these materials was determined through bench experiment, and the results were used for further analysis. The FSS study consists of both numerical and bench experiments. The analysis measures the displacements of the FSS base under external force and the findings are used to draw conclusions regarding the stability of the system. The FSS bench experiment uses an original methodology for recording displacements. The displacements of the FSS base are recorded by six displacement indicators. The data obtained are processed with software tools developed by the author of the paper. Thus, the space position of the FSS base is determined. The thesis contains the following chapters: the introduction, the literature review, research methodology, the results of findings and finally, the conclusion. It comprises 65 pages of text (excluding appendices), includes 56 figures, 11 tables, 28 bibliographical references, and 2 appendices.
