Darbo apimtis - 85 p. teksto be priedų, 42 iliustracijos, 23 lentelės, 75 bibliografiniai šaltiniai.Atskirai pridedami darbo priedai.
The peculiarities of the stress experienced by regional air traffic controllers are analyzed in the final master 's thesis. The study is performed in a complex simulator of en-route air traffic controllers, during which blood pressure before and after exercise and heart rate are recorded during the whole exercise. A review of the literature revealed that the Apple Watch used in the study is accurate in measuring heart rate. The Microlife arm gauge was used to record blood pressure and its accuracy has been confirmed in clinical trials. The exercise was programmed with 10 unusual situations to cause stress. Questionnaires for stress assessment were provided to study participants. The survey data were compared with the data obtained in the physical survey using statistical methods. A statistically significant positive correlation coefficient was obtained between the change in heart rate during situations and the self-assessment of stress on a 5-point Likert scale. An analysis of heart rate and blood pressure data confirmed the hypothesis that en-route air traffic controllers may experience high levels of stress not only during emergencies but also during unusual situations.Structure: introduction, overview of stress experienced by air traffic controllers, methodology for stress testing of en-route air traffic controllers in the simulator, study of stress experienced by en-route air traffic controllers in the complex simulator, conclusions and recommendations, references.Thesis consists of: 85 p. text without appendices, 42 pictures, 23 tables, 75 bibliographical references.Appendixes included.
