The main objective of this thesis is discussing the impact of applying UI automation testing in a project by showcasing a practical example of this development of switching from manual testing to automation by implementing an automation framework for user interface (UI) testing using selenium web-driver tool on a web application with the usage of java language and that's is done by being aware of the software development life cycle models and having deep knowledge of each step in software testing life cycle phase and integrate selenium tool with various tools like Maven and TestNG to build a reliable and agile framework and then adding some improvements to the testing framework by applying best practices while using (OOP) principles with integrating it with Jenkins continuous integration tool and confirm the essential need of using it and then by analysis of the test execution results, the influence on the estimated time and effort consumption can be confirmed with rewarding its benefits to achieve the core values and principles of agile methodology.
