Darbo apimtis - 102 p. teksto be priedų, 47 iliustr., 17 lent., 72 bibliografiniai šaltiniai.Atskirai pridedami darbo priedai.
The air pollution issues in living environment are analysed in the MSc Thesis. The largest amount of carbon monoxide is produced by cars, this happens when not burnt particles in the engine are thrown into air, this is the reason why places with high intensity of traffic have to be analysed. The experimental research of the acoustic panels was done in Vievis town and the TESTO 400 item was chosen to measure the carbon monoxide levels. The aim of this Thesis was to evaluate if the provided acoustic panels, built to reduce the noise from the passing cars in the considered area, do not cause damage for the living environment while concentrating carbon monoxide emissions locally. The carbon monoxide concentration levels were measured near the road and 3m, 50m, 100m away behind the acoustic panels. This allowed to evaluate the effect of the acoustic panels for the carbon monoxide dispersion. This experiment took into account vehicular effect, acoustic panels, surrounding buildings, surrounding threes effects in the area and metrological conditions. As a results, analysis shows that the height of the acoustic panels and surrounding objects have significant effect on the carbon monoxide dispersion and also dependence on the vehicular intensity is included.ADMS program was used to calculate carbon monoxide dispersion in the chosen area without acoustic panels, with 3m acoustic panels that are existing at the moment on site, and with 4m height acoustic panels.Theoretical and experimental carbon monoxide dispersion results were analysed and results provided in the conclusion and recommendations of the thesis.Thesis is done from 7 parts: introduction, 4 main chapters, conclusions, recommendations, the list of references, the list of publications.Thesis consists of: 102 pages without annexes, 47 pictures, 17 tables, 72 references.
