Application of Innovative Technologies for Sustainable Development of Water Resources Management
This study is based on the implementation of new Information Communication Technologies to the Wastewater sector. To be able to implement such technologies which decrease the consumption of Wastewater, the Industrial Plants in Belgium and Turkey is also been studied, thus the municipality examples from Lithuania is been analyzed in a case study. In Empirical Research, the consumption of Wastewater in the Industrial areas have been deeply analyzed in order to provide alternative technologies to decrease the consumption of Wastewater each day. In addition, some chemical elements have been compared with each other to provide chemical recommendations to save the wastewater. The Master Thesis had primarily aimed to evaluate the correct measures for efficient usage of wastewater under different perspectives of industrial enterprises and to provide an approach for the accomplishment of the correct measures to be more sustainably developed. This quantitative study has analyzed the sector of wastewater with respect to goals of UN's 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development with respect to different recommendations and different ICTs that are based on multi-criteria decision-making methods such as AHP and TOPSIS.The thesis consists of 55 pages of text without attachments, 14 figures, 30 tables, 41 bibliographic records. The questionnaire for experts can be found in the Appendix part. Structure: introduction, three chapters, conclusions and recommendations, links.
