Lietuvoje milijonui gyventojų atitenka 100 avarijų aukų, 2012 metais tai buvo prasčiausias rezultatas visoje Europos Sąjungoje. Siekiant didinti kelių eismo saugumą Lietuvoje, reikia žinoti kokie saugumą gerinantys sprendimai yra efektyviausi. Baigiamojo darbo tikslas - įvertinti saugumą keliuose gerinančius sprendimus, remiantis užsienio šalių patirtimi, bei naudojant daugiakriterio vertinimo metodą nustatyti efektyviausią kelio saugumą gerinantį sprendimą. Vertinimui naudojami TOPSIS ir AHP daugiakriteriai vertinimo metodai. Pasirinkimo metodas išbandytas praktikoje ir įvertinus dviejų sankryžų saugumo gerinimo sprendimus, išrinkti efektyviausi sprendimai. Darbą sudaro 6 dalys: įvadas, kelių infrastruktūra, jos situacija Lietuvoje ir pasaulyje, mokslinių tyrimų apžvalga, eismo saugumą gerinančių sprendimų efektyvumo įvertinimas, efektyviausio kelių saugumą gerinančio sprendimo nustatymas, naudojantis daugiakriteriu vertinimu; išvados ir pasiūlymai, literatūros sąrašas. Darbo apimtis - 85 p. Teksto be priedų, 35 iliustracijų, 27 lentelės , 62 bibliografiniai šaltiniai ir 1 priedas.
