Disertacijoje nagrinėjama kosminė spinduliuotė ir jos sklaida atmosferoje bei jos intensyvumo kaita, kurią lemią meteorologinių reiškinių dažnumas. Disertaciją sudaro įvadas, keturi skyriai, rezultatų apibendrinimas, naudotos literatūros ir autoriaus publikacijų disertacijos tema sąrašai bei keturi priedai. Pirmasis skyrius skirtas literatūros apžvalgai. Jame pateikta kosminės spin-duliuotės fizinė prigimtis, jos sklaida atmosferoje, Saulės aktyvumo bei geomagnetinio lauko įtaka kosminės spinduliuotės intensyvumui ties žemės paviršiumi. Antrajame skyriuje pateiktas kietosios kosminės spinduliuotės matavimo metodas. Trečiajame skyriuje aptariami eksperimentinių duomenų, naudojant aprašomosios statistikos, koreliacijos ir regresijos analizės, rezultatai. Ketvirtajame skyriuje aprašytas matematinis modelis, kuris leidžia įvertinti ryšį tarp miuoninės komponentės ir atmosferos slėgio bei temperatūros poveikio.
The thesis investigates cosmic rays and their scattering in the atmosphere and the change in their intensity caused by the frequency of meteorological phenomenon. The thesis consists of four parts including introduction, 4 chapters, conclu-sions, references and 4 annexes. Chapter 1 revises the literature used. It provides the review of the physical nature of cosmic rays and their scattering in the atmosphere, the influence of the solar activity and geomagnetic field on cosmic rays near the surface of the ground. Chapter 2 describes the method and apparatus for measuring the cosmic rays. Chapters 3 describes the results of the experimental investigation using descriptive statistics, correlation and regression analysis. Chapter presents a detailed discussion of the results obtained by the experimental investigation. Chapter 4 describes the mathematical model that allows to estimate the connection between muon flux and atmospheric pressure and temperature effects.
