The analysis of telecommunications sector in Baltic countries: similarities, differences and performance.

Baigiamajame magistro darbe iškelti tikslai - išnagrinėti telekomunikacijų sektorių Lietuvoje, Latvijoje ir Estijoje, išskirti panašumus ir skirtumus nagrinėjamų šalių sektoriuje, jų privatizacijose procesuose, išanalizuoti reguliavimo reformą, jos svarbą, o taip pat įvertinti kitus sektoriaus dalyvius, susijusius su pašto paslaugomis. Šiam darbui keliami uždaviniai yra literatūros šaltinių apžvalga telekomunikacijos sektoriui apibūdinti, paslaugų reguliavimui įvertinti, privatizacijos ir liberalizacijos procesams detalizuoti ir išnagrinėti, Baltijos šalių statistinių duomenų palyginamoji analizė. Siekiant nustatyti veiksnius, įtakojančius telekomunikacijų sektoriaus augimą, atliekama šių veiksnių bei šio sektoriaus koreliacinė regresinė analizė. Išnagrinėjus teorinius aspektus bei atlikus empirinį tyrimą, pateikiamos baigiamojo darbo išvados ir siūlymai. Darbo apimtis - 77 p. teksto be priedų, 8 lent., 6 iliustr., 12 grafikų, 47 bibliografiniai šaltiniai.
In the master thesis is analyzed Telecommunications Sector in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, also there are revealed similarities and differences of the sector and it's privatization, reviewed the status of regulatory reform and competition, summarized the state of such other players of communications sector as postal services. The first part of this paper reviews the definitions of telecommunications sector, also services an technologies used of this sector are parted. What is more, there are revealed processes of telecommunications sector privatization and liberalization and sector progress after these processes. Moreover, there is presented statistical data analysis of telecommunications sector. Further part of this paper provides with factors influencing telecommunications sector growth and the cohesions between them. At the end of the paper there are presented conclusions and recommendations. The master thesis includes 77 pages without appendixes, 8 tables, 12 graphs, 6 iliustrations, 47 sources of literature.
