Analizuojamas Jevonio upelio dumblo užterštumas sunkiaisiais metalais: Zn, Cr, Pb, Ni, Cd, Cu lyginant gautas koncentracijas su LAND 20 - 2005 „Nuotekų dumblo naudojimo tręšimui bei rekultivavimui reikalavimais” I kategorijos dumblo didžiausiomis leistinomis sunkiųjų metalų koncentracijomis.
The contamination with heavy metals and suitability to grow plants in Jevonis river sediment used for the renovation of river banks are examined in these final master thesis.Jevonis river's state and pollution are discussed in the first chapter of the work. The restoration of water pond is rewied. Chemical composition of sediment obtained during the rivers restoration, sediment's influence for living organisms and plants and its ways of use are analysed in details. Moreover, research methods, mechanisms and devices are described in the second chapter. The results of the research are given in the third part of the work. The contamination of the Jevonis river sediment with heavy metals (Zn, Cr, Pb, Ni, Cd, Cu) is analysed and concentration obtain are compared to the permissible I category marginal sediment concentrations regulated in the LAND 20-2005 ”Requirements for the use of sediments for the fertilisation and re-cultivation”. Sediment's suitability for the growth of fescue and ryegrass in different substratum is considered. In addition to this, plants' ability to absorb heavy metals from sediment is analysed.Heavy metals' dispersion in sediments by the use of mathematic modeling method is considered in the forth part of the work.Final master thesis' conclusions are made, recommendations are given, and the list of used literature is presented at the end of the work.
