Darbo apimtis - 64 psl. teksto be priedų, 41 iliustr., 20 bibliografinių šaltinių, 7 priedai.
The aim of the master's thesis is to develop and study an algorithm for checking the condition of the screen surface by applying computer image recognition technologies. The aim is achieved by performing 3 tasks. An overview of image analysis methods for assessing the condition of the screen surface was performed. In the first part of the study, the screen surface condition check algorithm was implemented using YOLOv8n, YOLOv8s, YOLOv8m, YOLOv8l, and YOLOv8x artificial intelligence models. The accuracy and speed of the algorithms are analyzed. In the second part of the research, the YOLOv8x model was trained and adapted to data sets of other authors, and the obtained results were compared with the results of the YOLOv5-m and YOLOX-m models. The thesis consists of 64 pages of text without appendixes, 41 illustrations, 20 bibliographic sources, and 7 appendixes included.
