Disertacijoje nagrinėjamos oro erdvės stambinimo galimybės, taikant esamus erdvės diskretizavimo ir klasteriavimo metodus. Disertacijos tyrimų objektas yra regioninių oro erdvės blokų formavimas remiantis skrydžių srautais. Disertacijos tikslas yra sukurti regioninių oro erdvės blokų formavimo remiantis skrydžių srautais metodiką. Darbe sprendžiami keli regiono oro erdvės organizavimo uždaviniai, susiję su sąlygų efektyvesnei oro eismo vadybos sistemos veiklai užtikrinti sudarymu. Uždaviniai suformuluoti atsižvelgus į oro erdvės naudotojų lūkesčius, efektyvesnių skrydžių užtikrinimo aktualumą ir siejami su transporto veiklos efektyvumo gerinimo problema. Disertaciją sudaro įvadas, keturi skyriai, rezultatų apibendrinimas, naudotos literatūros ir autoriaus publikacijų disertacijos tema sąrašai ir šeši priedai. Įvadiniame skyriuje aptariama tiriamoji problema, darbo aktualumas, apra-šomas tyrimų objektas, formuluojamas darbo tikslas bei uždaviniai, aprašoma tyrimų metodika, darbo mokslinis naujumas ir praktinė reikšmė, ginamieji teiginiai. Įvado pabaigoje pristatomos disertacijos tema autoriaus paskelbtos publikacijos ir pranešimai konferencijose bei disertacijos struktūra. Pirmasis skyrius skirtas oro eismo vadybos sistemos ir oro erdvės organiza-vimo metodų apžvalgai bei literatūros analizei. Skyriaus pabaigoje formuluojamos išvados ir tikslinami disertacijos uždaviniai. Antrajame skyriuje pateikiami oro eismo vadybos sistemoje taikomi oro erdvės organizavimo metodai ir priemonės. Trečiajame skyriuje pateikiama regioninių oro erdvės blokų formavimo remiantis skrydžių srautais metodika, jos pagrindimas, taikymo oro eismo vadybos sistemoje galimybės. Ketvirtajame skyriuje aprašomas eksperimentinis tyrimas. Parodytos regio-ninių oro erdvės blokų formavimo remiantis skrydžių srautais metodikos galimybės.
The dissertation examines the airspace consolidation possibilities by using existing space discretisation and clusterisation methods. The research object is the formation of regional airspace blocks according to traffic flows. The aim of the dissertation is to develope the methodology for the formation of regional airspace blocks with reference to the traffic flows. The dissertation aims to solve a few problems of the organization of the regional airspace, associated with the formation of conditions for more efficient operation of the air traffic management system. The objectives are formulated according to the expectations of the airspace users, the relevance of ensuring more efficient flights and are associated with the transport efficiency improve-ment problem. The dissertation consists of an introduction, four chapters, a summary of the results, the lists of reference and the author's publications on the dissertation topic and six appendices. The introductory chapter discusses the problem of the research, the topicality of the research, describes the object of the research, formulates the aim and tasks, describes the methodology of the research, the scientific novelty, its practical value and hypotheses. At the end of the introduction, the author’s publications, reports in conferences on the dissertation topic as well as the structure of the dissertation are presented. Chapter one is intended for the review of the air traffic management systems and the methods of the airspace organization as well as for the analysis of the literature. At the end of the chapter, the conclusions are formulated and the tasks of the dissertation are revised. Chapter two provides the methods and measures applied in the air traffic management system for the organisation of the airspace. Chapter three provides the methodology of the formation of regional airspace blocks, its development and the opportunities of the application in the air traffic management system. Chapter four provides the experimental research and presents the opportunities of the methodology for the formation of regional airspace blocks according to traffic flows.
