Magistro baigiamajam darbui pasirinkta tema - „Sporto ir sveikatingumo centrų architektūra” suvokiant, kad keičiantis pasauliui nekinta žmogaus prigimtinis troškimas - būti stipriam ir sveikam.Baigiamojo darbo tikslas - į sporto ir sveikatingumo centrų architektūrą pažvelgti įvairiais aspektais: nagrinėjant literatūrą, gilinantis į istoriją, tipologinę raidą, analizuojant tarptautinę praktiką ir pavyzdžius, teorinius ir įgyvendintus projektus, senovę menančius archetipus ir išmaniausias naujoves. Įžvalgos, atrastos atliekant tyrimus, pritaikomos praktiškai. Šiuo darbu siekiama atrasti principus ir pasiūlyti būdą, kaip skatinti visuomenės fizinį aktyvumą ir sveiką gyvenseną bei įnešti daugiau tvarumo į profesionalųjį sportą. Tema suvokiama kaip daugiasluoksnis, skirtingų veiksnių sąlygojamas reiškinys, reikalauja visapusiško žvilgsnio tiek tiriant, tiek projektuojant. Baigiamasis darbas suvokiamas kaip galimybė savo įžvalgomis ir idėjomis prisidėti prie Lietuvos augimo ir stiprėjimo, mąstant apie mūsų krašto architektūrinio veido atnaujinimą bei ilgamečių sporto tradicijų puoselėjimą. Projekte siekiama sujungti istorinį palikimą, dabarties iššūkius ir siekį kurti tvarią ateitį. Todėl sporto ir sveikatingumo centrui projektuoti pasirinkta vieta Ignalinoje, Lietuvos žiemos sporto centro teritorijoje, atsižvelgiant į Lietuvos regioninės plėtros poreikius bei ilgametes sporto tradicijas.Architektūra suvokiama kaip menas, savo galia jungiantis dangų, žemę ir vandenis - tris stichijas, žmogui pavestas Kūrėjo. Iš gamtos ir architektūros jėgos kylanti energija teikia amžinybės pojūtį - dvasinę ir fizinę stiprybę, svarbią ir reikalingą negandų ir išbandymų kamuojamai visuomenei. Todėl sporto ir sveikatingumo centras savo tūrine - erdvine kompozicija įkūnija šuolio alegoriją. Pastatas projektuojamas kaip Vilkakalnio kalno tąsa, vietoženklis ir tarptautinės reikšmės traukos centras. Tai naujo Ignalinos miesto raidos etapo - ambicijos transformuotis į išmanųjį sporto kurortą simbolis.
The topic chosen for the master's thesis is "Architecture of Sports and Wellness Centers", realizing that as the world keeps changing, a person's natural desire to be strong and healthy does not change.The aim of the final paper is to take a look at architecture of sports and wellness centers from various aspects by analyzing literature, delving into history, typological development, analyzing international practice and examples, theoretical and implemented projects. The aim is to put the insights discovered in the research into practice while preparing the project. The work intends to discover the principles and propose a way to promote physical activity, a healthy lifestyle and bring more sustainability to professional sports. The topic is perceived as a multi-layered phenomenon caused by different factors, therefore, it requires a comprehensive look both during the research and while preparing the project.With the help of the new insights and ideas, the thesis is perceived as an opportunity to contribute to the growth and strengthening of Lithuania, reflecting on the renewal of the architectural face of our country, combining history, current challenges and the desire to create a sustainable future. Due to this reason, a place in Ignalina, in the territory of the Lithuanian Winter Sports Center, was chosen to design the sports and wellness center, taking into account the needs of Lithuanian regional development and sports traditions.Architecture is perceived as art which uses its power to combine air, earth and water - three elements entrusted to the man by the Creator. The energy emanating from nature and architecture renders a sense of eternity - spiritual and physical strength which is crucial and necessary for the society tortured by calamities and challenges. Therefore, the sports and wellness center embodies the allegory of jump by its volumetric-spatial composition. The building is being projected as the continuation of Vilkakalnis hill - the landmark of the city and a significant international site. It symbolizes a new stage of the development of
