Abstract. Researches provides numerous ways of studying, examining, evaluating, internal pressure of concrete. One of the simplest way to review and research is done by measuring the internal pressure using sensor. In this report the deliberate attempts are made to record the pressures values using carbon composition resistance based sensors, which provides fairly good enough dynamic measuring range values in case of composite materials such as concrete. Concrete can be considered as the agglomerative mixture of ingredients that solidifies over the time to form hard substance. The conducted study of the measurement of pressure helps us to determine the behaviour of sensing device with time and also establish common relationship between output of sensing device (in mV) and corresponding pressure values through the process of calibration. And a common understanding is developed in realization of working characteristics of a sensing element.
