Mokslo problema. Be to, taikant deflektometrą naudojami skirtingi pradiniai duomenys apie klimatą ir asfaltbetonio temperatūrą. Visi europietiškieji projektavimo metodai yra sudaryti, pritaikant juos šalių klimatiniams faktoriams ir naudojamoms medžiagoms. Tapo aktualu nustatyti Lietuvos klimatinių faktorių įtakos priklausomybes, tam kad remiantis įlinkių matavimų deflektometru duomenimis, galima būtų apskaičiuoti kelio dangos konstrukcijos ekvivalentinio tamprumo modulio reikšmes, atitinkančias silpniausią kelio dangos būklę. Darbo tikslas ir uždaviniai. Tikslas – eksperimentiškai ištirti Lietuvos automobilių kelio dangos konstrukcijų stiprumo kaitą, įvertinant Lietuvos klimatines sąlygas ir sukurti teoriškai pagrįstus automobilių kelio dangos konstrukcijų tamprumo modulių nustatymo metodus. Darbe sprendžiami šie uždaviniai: 1. Eksperimentinių tyrimų automobilių kelių ruožuose pradinių duomenų paruošimas; kelio dangos konstrukcijos sluoksnių tamprumo modulių nustatymo metodo taikymas, įvertinant Lietuvos klimatines sąlygas. 2. Redukcijos koeficientų nustatymas kelio dangos kiekvieno konstrukcijos sluoksnio kalendorinių metų mažiausiam tamprumo moduliui apskaičiuoti. 3. Kelio dangos konstrukcijos ekvivalentinių tamprumo modulių nustatymo metodo sukūrimas. 4. Regresijos lygčių sudarymas kelio dangos konstrukcijos ekvivalentinių tamprumo modulių minimalioms reikšmėms apskaičiuoti. 5. Ekvivalentinių tamprumo modulių skaičiavimo algoritmo parengimas ir kompiuterinės programos sukūrimas. Darbo mokslinis naujumas. Pagal kelio dangos įlinkių matavimus deflektometru apskaičiuoti kelio dangos konstrukcijos atskirų sluoksnių ir ekvivalentiniai tamprumo moduliai. Nustatyti redukcijos koeficientai, leidžiantys apskaičiuoti kelio dangos konstrukcijos sluoksnių mažiausias tamprumo modulių reikšmes Lietuvos klimato sąlygomis. Sudarytos ekvivalentinio tamprumo modulio regresijos lygtys Lietuvos klimato sąlygomis minimalioms tamprumo modulio reikšmėms apskaičiuoti atskirais kalendorinių metų laikotarpiais. Sukurtas algoritmas ir kompiuterinė programa kelio dangos konstrukcijos ekvivalentinių tamprumo modulio apskaičiavimui. Atlikta kelio dangos konstrukcijos stiprumo analizė. Įvertinti minimalūs stiprio rodikliai pagal klimato veiksnių kitimą. Pasiūlyti metodai automobilių kelių dangos konstrukcijos stiprumo nustatymui. Tyrimų metodika apima: 1. Kelių dangos konstrukcijų eksperimentinius stiprumo tyrimus. 2. Eksperimentinių tyrimo rezultatų analizę ir vertinimą. 3. Kelių dangos konstrukcijų stiprumo nustatymo metodų sukūrimą. 4. Kelių dangos konstrukcijų stiprumo skaičiavimo kompiuterinės programos algoritmo sudarymą. Praktinė vertė. Tyrimų rezultatų išdavoje pasiūlyti kelių dangos konstrukcijų stiprumo nustatymo metodai taikytini praktikoje, vertinant Lietuvos automobilių kelių būklę. Būtina nustatyti automobilių kelių dangos konstrukcijų stiprio rodiklius, projektuojant stiprinamų kelių dangos konstrukcijų papildomus sluoksnius, kad danga atlaikytų projektines apkrovas (projektinis analizės uždavinys). Didėjant važiuojančių transporto priemonių apkrovoms svarbu žinoti faktiškus Lietuvos automobilių kelių dangos stiprio rodiklius ir juos taikyti projektavimo metu. Darbo rezultatų aprobavimas. Scientific problem. Lithuania’s road network has a rather uniform distribution and is sufficiently dense, however, the earlier constructed roads are not able to carry the increased loads and the growing traffic volume. Since 2000, the Equivalent Standard Axle Loads (ESA) on the main roads have increased more than twice, the total traffic volume – by nearly 55 %. Based on the previous specifications a permissible axle load was 100 and 80 kN, whereas, at present a permissible axle load on the main roads is 115 kN, on other roads – 100 kN, therefore, the road pavements must be strengthened. The bearing capacity of the existing pavement structures and the need for pavement strengthening are mostly determined by investigating the surface condition and the structural strength of the road. However, Lithuania has no experimentally justified and approved methodology, which would enable to determine the bearing capacity of the existing pavement structures. Pavement structural strength is one of the main indices to describe pavement capacity to carry traffic loads. When designing pavement strengthening the values of equivalent modulus of elasticity (E-modulus) of the existing pavement structure must be assessed, corresponding to the weakest pavement condition, and compared to the equivalent E-modulus on the surface of pavement structural layers, recommended in the Construction Technical Regulation STR 2.06.03:2001 ,,Motor Roads“. For this purpose the Falling Weight Deflectometer Dynatest FWD 8000 was started to be used in Lithuania, which helps to determine and estimate the indices of strength of the existing pavement structural layers. When estimating the required equivalent E-modulus, according to the recommendations of STR 2.06.03:2001 ,,Motor Roads“, the specialists of Lithuania had no sufficient knowledge and experience. Besides, deflectometer measurements are based on the different input data about the climate and the asphalt concrete temperature. All the European design methods have been developed and adjusted to the local seasonal factors and the materials used. It became an urgent task to determine the relationships of the seasonal factors in Lithuania and, based on FWD deflection measurement data, to estimate the equivalent E-modulus values, corresponding to the weakest condition of the road pavement. Aim and tasks of the work. Aim is to carry out experimental research on the change in the structural strength of Lithuania’s road pavements, taking into consideration the Lithuania’s climatic conditions, and to develop the theoretically-substantiated methods for determining the E-modulus of the road pavement structures. The following tasks were solved in this work: 1. Preparation of input data for the experimental research of road sections, application of the method for determining the E-modulus of the road pavement structural layers, taking into consideration the Lithuania’s climatic conditions. 2. Determination of the seasonal adjustment factors for calculating the minimum E-modulus of a pavement structural layer per a calendar year. 3. Development of the method for determining the equivalent E-modulus of the road pavement structure. 4. Establishment of regression equations for estimating the minimum E-modulus values of the road pavement structure. 5. Design of the algorithm for the estimation of the equivalent E-modulus and creation of the computer program. Scientific novelty. Based on the FWD deflection measurements the E-modulus of the different pavement structural layers and the equivalent E-modulus were calculated. The seasonal adjustment factors were determined, giving a possibility to calculate the minimum E-modulus values of the pavement structural layers under Lithuania’s climatic conditions. Regression equations of the equivalent E-modulus under Lithuania’s climatic conditions were established for calculating the minimum values of the modulus in a different period of a calendar year. The algorithm and the computer program were designed for the estimation of the equivalent E-modulus of the road pavement structure, using the Dynatest 8000 FWD deflection measurement data. Analysis of the road pavement structural strength was performed. The minimum indices of strength were identified according to the change in the seasonal factors. Methods were suggested for the determination of the structural strength of road pavements. Methodology of research includes: 1. Experimental research on the structural strength of road pavements. 2. Analysis and evaluation of the results of experimental research. 3. Development of the method for determining the structural strength of road pavements. 4. Design of the algorithm of a computer program for calculating the structural strength of road pavements. Practical value. Methods for determining the structural strength of road pavements, suggested in the result of the research, could be put into practice for the evaluation of the condition of roads in Lithuania. When designing overlays for the road pavement structures to be strengthened it is necessary to determine the indices of the pavement structural strength in order the pavement could carry the design loads. With the increasing traffic loads it is important to know the actual indices of road pavement strength in Lithuania and to apply them during the process of design.
