Darbo apimtis - 81 p. teksto be priedų, 58 paveikslai, 11 lentelių, 47 bibliografinių šaltinių. Kartu pridedami darbo priedai.
This master thesis is dedicated to the architectural and structural solutions of timber pedestrian bridges. There has been the analysis of the historical development of bridges, bridge classification according to its function, form of structure, material and placement of the travel surface done. The statistical research of the correlation between middle range of footbridge span and material of the main construction of the pedestrian bridges has been performed. In this paper the features and limitations of timber, as well as materials and technologies of producing glulam have been described. The solutions of pedestrian bridges and the aesthetic expressions of the construction solutions of the timber pedestrian bridges have been analysed. This thesis contains 6 parts: introduction, the history of bridge construction, classification of bridges, advantages and disadvantages of timber pedestrian bridges, conclusions and list of information sources. This work contains 81 pages of text without supplements, 58 figures and 11 tables, 47 sources of information. The supplements are added.
