Darbo apimtis - 81 p. teksto be priedų, 43 pav., 6 lent., 73 bibliografiniai šaltiniai. Atskirai pridedami darbo priedai.
The final master's thesis analyzes two different paradigms of investors behaviour that exist in the financial market, that is herding behaviour and counter behaviour. The main purpose of the work is to determine which investors behaviour pattern better reflects real changes in the prices of financial instruments in financial markets. The research also seeks to determine whether better investment performance can be achieved when investors rely on the opinion of the majority of investors, or whether it is more beneficial to rely on the actions of the minority of investors. The theoretical part of the thesis reveals the concept of investors behaviour and its significance for financial markets, discusses the biases of individual investors, the consequences and measurement of the behaviour of a group of investors. The methodological part of the thesis deals with the main methods of measuring and analyzing the herding behaviour of investors. The research performs price forecasts for selected financial instruments using a deep learning algorithm, performs text analysis using a sentiment classification algorithm, and analyzes data on open position ratios of investors. After analyzing the theoretical aspects of investors behaviour and conducting a detailed research, the main conclusions and suggestions of the thesis were presented.Structure: introduction, theoretical part, research methodology, research, conclusions and suggestions, references. Thesis consist of: 81 p. text without appendixes, 43 pictures, 6 tables, 73 bibliographical entries. Appendixes included.
