Šiuo metu Vilniaus aerodrome įrengta ICAO I-os kategorijos tūpimo pagal prietaisus įranga kilimo ir tūpimo tako krypčiai 02, kurią naudojant reguliuojamas orlaiviams tūpimas esant tam tikroms meteorologinėms sąlygoms, tačiau gana dažnai meteorologinės sąlygos būna ypač sudėtingos. Plečiantis oro uosto veiklai ir orlaivių srautams, svarbu turėti priemonių, kurios leistų orlaiviams saugiai tūpti vyraujant sudėtingesnėms meteorologinėms sąlygoms. Išanalizavę 2006-2010 m. Aviacijos meteorologijos centro pateiktus duomenis, matome, kiek laiko per metus ICAO II-os kategorijos tūpimo pagal prietaisus įranga būtų reikalinga Vilniaus aerodromui, kokia būtų ekonominė nauda. Darbo apimtis 73 psl. aiškinamojo rašto, 18 iliustr., 20 lent., 15 bibliografinių šaltinių.
Vilnius aerodrome is currently equipped with ICAO Category I instrument landing system for the runway 02, which allows aircraft to land in certain weather conditions, but it often happens that the weather conditions become very poor. During the expansion of airport operations and air traffic, it is very important to have measures that allow safe landing of aircraft when complex weather conditions prevail. Basing on analysis of 2006-2010 aviation meteorological center data we can predict how much time a year ICAO category II instrument landing system would be profitable at Vilnius aerodrome. What would the economic benefits be after the reconstruction. Thesis consist of: 73 p. text without appendixes, 18 pictures, 20 tables, 15 bibliographical entries.
