In master's thesis there are stated horizontal curve radius values and analyzed, how the obtained results meet the current standards of road design of the Republic of Lithuania. For the research, Panevezys region's paved gravel road sections were selected. When performing the study it was singled out: the minimum and be corrected horizontal radius of curvature when the design speed - Vp = 90 km/h, the minimum and be corrected horizontal radius of curvature when the design speed - Vp = 70 km/h, the minimum and be corrected horizontal radius of curvature when the design speed is equal to permitted speed Vp = VL. The results confirmed the fact that during implementation of the gravel road paving program, there is no compliance with the requirements for track plan provided in the design standarts. In master's thesis there is also performed analysis of recorded number of accidents on considered road sections, the variation is observed in the number of traffic accidents change before and after the reconstruction. The location of the accident in the road route plan's element is also recorded. This analysis reflects both general and horizontal curves of the recorded number of accidents increase.
