Here are distinguishing the most important factors causing the greatest impact on the construction of wooden houses in countries where the industry is widely developed. Particular attention is given to analisis of Lithuania in the normal and the crisis time. Also, this work aim is to describe all known techniques of all the wooden house construction. In addition, there is talking about the future perspective of the multi-story wooden buildings. The analysis of the prevailing trends of the construction, concluded that the frame timber houses and the houses of the glued beams will begin to determine the trends in the construction of wooden houses and wooden houses are gradually gaining the multistory building market.
