Magistro baigiamajame darbe gilinamasi į pasyvios gynybos sistemos fenomeną (vizija) miestų struktūrose ir jos principus. Šiuo metu šie principai yra pamiršti, tačiau jie vėl tampa aktualūs šiuolaikinių geopolitinių įvykių kontekste.Temos tikslas yra identifikuoti pasyviosios gynybos, civilinės gynybos, civilinės saugos ir veiklos prielaidas bei transformacines galimybes Vilniaus miesto kontekste ir pateikti pasirinktos konkrečios teritorijos funkcinę erdvinę struktūros atsparumo interpretaciją, apimant požemio, paviršiaus geografijos ir urbanistinio audinio sąveiką.Analitinėje metodinėje dalyje nagrinėjamas pasyvios gynybos reiškinys, aiškinamos sąsajos tarp miesto fortifikacijų ir karybos technologijų vystymosi. Nagrinėjant istoriją formuluojami pasyvios gynybos sistemos principai aktualūs šiems laikams. Praktinei patirčių studijai pasirenkami trys tyrimo objektai konvencinio karinio konflikto kontekste ir ieškoma sąsajų tarp pasyvios gynybos kriterijų ir apgulties rezultatų. Tiriamojoje dalyje pristatoma Vilniaus miesto analizė pasyvios gynybos aspektu. Ieškoma pažeidžiamų miesto vietų, atsižvelgiant į pasyvios gynybos aspektą. Naujininkai identifikuojami kaip pažeidžiamiausia Vilniaus miesto dalis. Atradus pažeidžiamą miesto dalį ir atlikus analizę, suformuluojama koncepcija rajono atsparumui konvencinei karo grėsmei gerinti.Baigiamąjį darbą sudaro tekstinė byla, grafinė medžiaga bei maketas. Tekstinės bylos sudėtis: įvadas, analitinė-metodinė (esė),eksperimentinėtiriamoji, eksperimentinė-projektinė dalys, išvados, literatūros šaltiniai, ir priedai (viso 90 psl. be priedų, 92 iliustracijos, 19 literatūros šaltinių). Grafinę dalį sudaro 10 vertikalių planšetų (70x100 cm) ir du maketai - urbanistinės koncepcijos (M 1:1000) ir detalizuojamo fragmento (M 1:500).
The master's thesis delves into the phenomenon (vision) of the passive defense system in urban structures and its principles. Currently, these principles are forgotten, but they are becoming relevant again in the context of contemporary geopolitical events. The purpose of the topic is to research passive defense, civil defense, civil safety and operational assumptions and transformation possibilities in the context of the city of Vilnius and to present a functional spatial interpretation of the resistance of the structure of the selected specific territory, including the interaction of underground, surface geography and urban fabrics. The analytical methodological part examines the phenomenon of passive defense, explains the connections between city fortifications and the development of warfare technologies. Analyzing the history, the principles of the passive defense system formulated are relevant for these times. For a practical case study, three objects are selected in the context of a conventional research military conflict and the relationship between the criteria of passive defense and the results of the siege is sought. The research part presents the analysis of the city of Vilnius from the aspect of passive defense. Vulnerable areas of the city are analyzed, taking into account the aspect of passive defense. Naujininkai are identified as the most vulnerable part of the city of Vilnius. After discovering the vulnerable part of the city and conducting an analysis, a concept is formulated to improve the district's resistance to the conventional threat of war. The final work consists of a text file, graphic material and a physical model. Composition of the text file: introduction, analytical-methodical (essay), experimental-research, experimental-project parts, conclusions, literature sources, and appendices (total 90 pages without appendices, 92 illustrations, 19 literature sources). The graphic part consists of 10 vertical tablets (70x100 cm) and two physical models - an urban concept (M 1:1000) and a detailed fragment (M 1:500).
