Darbo apimtis 43 p. teksto be priedų, 48 iliustr., 15 lent., 30 bibliografiniai šaltiniai.Atskirai pridedamas darbo priedas.
This master's thesis examines the impact of combination of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems on energy consumption in a real existing building. The main aim of this thesis is to determine the influence of HVAC systems on energy consumption according to the Lithuanian requirements. The research was carried out after creating a model of the microclimate systems of the building using a dynamic energy modelling tool - DesignBuilder - based on the measured actual air volumes and room temperatures. Using ” DesignBuilder” the combination of HVAC systems was modelled for the real building and three alternatives systems as well. Based on the obtained result it was figured out that energy consumption varies depending on combination of HVAC systems due to differences in the performance of microclimate systems and their specifications. In the health care facilities the air heating does not work due to unallowed recirculation. In this way energy saving potential is not exploited. The difference in energy costs and expenses between other systems when a heat source is DH varies from 1.38 to 1.93 times. The lowest cost of system operation is when the combination of HVAC systems consists of mechanical ventilation, underfloor heating systems and air cooling using fan coils. The difference in energy costs between alternative combinations of HVAC systems varies between 6.4% and 25.4%.The thesis consists of 5 parts: Introduction, theretical background, practical part, conculusion, references.Thesis consists of: 43 pages of text without appendixes, 48 pictures, 15 tables, 30 bibliographical entries.Appendix is included separately.
