Thesis was based on research on the architecture of industrial clusters and their change because of technological development. The aim of the thesis is to create an architectural object that would replace the abandoned factory administrative building and become a center of attraction in the context of the whole district. Multispectral site analysis was performed, analogues of buildings of similar typologies were analyzed, experiments were performed after the building function was clear. The conclusions made after the research became the guiding principles for creating an architectural object. The building consists of four vectors serving different functions, the relationship between vectors plays an essential role - the existing factory building is accessible to factory workers and partly to scientists, a work space for scientists with a space for expositions, which is accessible to the public, the educational corps of pupils and the locals. Different spatial relationships are also reflected in the architectural conception- two different volumes cross each other and at the point of intersection, the most important space for science popularization is created. Wide range of features ensures the building is relevance to all social groups and turns the unused factory to center of attraction.
