Disertacijoje išnagrinėta reprezentacinės aikštės samprata, parengta aikščių analizės metodika, kurios esmė - sudarytas aikštės savybių modelis, išskirtos esminės aikštės savybės ir jų charakteristikos, ištirtas jų tarpusavio ryšys ir sąveika. Nustatytos Vilniaus aikščių savybės ir jų reprezentacinis pobūdis.

Abstract (en)

The disertation examined the concept of representative square, prepared the methodology for the analysis of public squares, mainly focusing on developed model of their characteristics distinguishing the esential characteristics and investigating their interrelationship and interaction. The disertation established the representative characrer of the analysed Vilnius squares.
