Atskirai pridedami darbo priedai.
The final master's thesis examines the philosophies (Lean or Agile) and the most appropriate planning tools (ERP or MES) that companies can use to smoothly cope with the challenges experienced and expand the production volume by including new products. The work examines the extent to which those tools should be used. According to the trends and methods described in the scientific literature, a survey of Lithuanian manufacturing business was conducted. The importance of Lean/Agile philosophies and ERP/MES systems, along with what obstacles, have been investigated encountered while installing them. The work presents the summarized results of the interviewed companies. Based on the problems identified during the research, it is presented model and conclusions and proposals, indicating where to pay the most attention in the current situation in order to realize an optimal production environment. The thesis consists of 7 parts: introduction, literature analysis, methodology, empirical research, model, conclusions and proposals, literature list. Scope of thesis - 72 p. text, 22 illustrations, 12 tables, 32 literary sources. Work accessories are attached separately.
