Darbą sudaro 5 dalys: įvadas, analitinė-metodinė, eksperimentinė-tiriamoji, eksperimentinė projektinė dalys, išvados, literatūros ir kiti sąrašai bei priedaiDarbo apimtis - 82 p. teksto be priedų, 105 iliustr., 7 lent., 19 bibliografiniai šaltiniai.
Thesis evaluates the infrastructural and commercial points with the workshops of craftsmen, which later becomes an industrial legacy and reminiscent of the golden age of cities, are influenced by the character of Lithuanian small towns.During the Soviet era, the industrial function developed in these areas was more focused on global production than on the consumer of the small town, however the development of these areas continued and developed the features of the city's identity. With the development of technology today and the replacement of mechanical work with automatic ones, inefficient use of these areas in the city is becoming more and more responsive to the city's identity. Therefore, the general object of research is the identity of small towns and conversion areas in the central parts and challenges, tendencies of their transformation in the development of interaction models of small town identity and conversion area solutions. The aim of final work is to prepare proposals for the urban-architectural conversion of industrial area in the center of Švenčionėliai after evaluating the importance of the criteria for the formation of identity about small towns and the need and possibilities for the conversion of brownfield sites. The thesis consists of introduction, three chapters (analytical-methodical, experimental-research and experimental-design), general conclusions, lists of references, and several annexes. The total scope of the thesis (without annexes) - 82 pages, 105 figures, 7 tables and 19 references. Annexes included.
