Baigiamojo magistro darbo užduotis - suprojektuoti menų centrą Vilniuje. Prieš pradedant projektuoti buvo atsižvelgta į ekspozicinės paskirties pastatų raidą ir jų tendencijas, susipažinta su meno centrų projektavimo specifika, išnagrinėti užsienio architektų darbai, šiuolaikinių meno centrų projektavimo tendencijos. Prieita išvada, jog šiandieniniai meno centrai ne tik meninės kalbos pripažintojai ir tendencijų formuotojai, bet ir aktyvūs neformalios savišvietos skleidėjai. Jie vertinami už bendrą kūrybinio potencialo didinimą, o tai turi įtakos visai bendruomenės raidos kokybei. Tokiuos centruose, ne vien teikiama informacija, čia sukuriamos erdvės bendravimui, švietimo ir kulturos renginiams, meninės saviraiško saktinimui. Sklypas kuriame projektuojamas menų centras, yra Vilniuje šalia svarbios miestui Ozo gatvės, kuri kertasi su Kalvarijų, Geležinio vilko gatvėmis ir Ukmergės plentu, nutolusi nuo Vilniaus senamiesčio apie 3 km. Tai strategiskai palanki vieta dėl didelių srautų šia kryptimi. Visos priežastys skatino atsižvelgti į istoriškai susiklosčiusį gamtini karkasą, gatvių sistemą, tačiau ir sukurti savitą, originalų objektą. Didele įtaką architektūros koncepcijai turėjo pasirinkta projektuojama teritorija - sklype gausu gamtinių elementų ( reljefas, augmenija, vandens telkiniai), šalia sukoncentruota daugybė kitokias pramogas siūlančių centrų. Projektiniai pasiūlymai teikiami atlikus urbanistinę analizę.
The main objectives of master thesis is the following: a project of an art's centre in Vilnius. The historical development of the expositional function buildings and their future tendencies were respected. Further more, acquaintances to the particularities of art's centres as well as to international practice and local researches and to tendencies of centres of contemporary arts were made.After analysys of theoretical and practical basis, some conclusions need to be mentioned. Present art's centres are the ones, that accept the language of arts and form tendencies as well as activ spread the unformal self-education. They increase the potential of a common creativity, what influences general community evolution. For this are the art's centres very appreciated. Not only infrmation will be spreaded in such centres, as well as spaces for communicating, education and culture events will be created here for helping to express one self.The selected territory for the art's centre is situated on an Ozo street, one of the main streets in Vilnius, which intersects with Kalvariju, Gelezinio Vilko and Ukmerges Streets, about 3 km from the Vilniusold city. It is a well-disposed teritory because of very intensive traffic in this direction. All the causes were the reason to respect the historical nature surroundings, street system and design an original and peculiar object. Architectural concept was strongly influenced by selected territory and its rich elements of nature ( relief, growth, water) and by the fact, that there are more objects offering number of entertaining ways in this area . The final solution is based on tha urban analysis.
