Darbo tema: industrinio pastato jautrioje gamtinėje ir urbanistinėje situacijoje konversija į visuomenei prieinamą objektą.Nagrinėjamas objektas - buvęs elektrografijos institutas „Elmatronas” Vilniuje, P. Vileišio g. 18. Kompleksas statytas 1959- 1990 metais, iš pradžių turėjo gamybinę, dabar - daugiafunkcinę paskirtį. Pastatai nusidėvėję, vizualiai nepatrauklūs. Rajone ryškiai išsiskiria nagrinėjamas sklypas. Gamybinės paskirties pastatai, tarsi svetimkūniai, įsikūrę gyvenamųjų namų rajone. Tai vienintelis tokios paskirties kompleksas Antakalnyje. Nagrinėjami pastatai išsiskiria ne tik savo paskirtimi, bet ir perdideliu masteliu.Numatoma komplekso konversija į SPA centrą, kuriame projektuojamos baseinų, pirčių, sporto klubo patalpos, sveikatingumo centras, viešbutis, komercinės patalpos.Darbe numatomas gamybinių pastatų komplekso integravimas į jį supančią aplinką, kuris pagerintų rajono estetiką, teritorijos patrauklumą, vietos ir aplinkinių pastatų vertę. Numatomas teritorijos sutvarkymas, kuris pagerintų rajono ryšį su miestui svarbiu gamtiniu dariniu - Neries upe.
The subject of the master thesis is conversion of an industrial building situated in sensitive environmental and urbanistic context to an object open to public.The object of the master thesis is the former electrographics institute „Elmatronas”, which is situated in Vileišio street 18, Vilnius. The complex was built in 1959-1990 and in the beginning its function was industrial but now it serves multi-functional purposes. Buildings of the complex are deteriorated and visually not attractive. The object of the thesis clearly differs from its surroundings: it is the only industrial complex in Antakalnis amidst residential buildings. It differs not only in its purpose but also in its scale.In the master thesis it is planned to converse the object to a SPA centre with pools, saunas, sports centre, health centre, hotel and commercial premises. Industrial buildings are to be integrated into their environment, which would improve the aesthetics and attractiveness of the district and would raise the value of surrounding buildings and the area itself. The arrangement of the territory is planned to improve the harmonization of the district to the river Neris, which is important natural formation in the city.
