Magistro baigiamojo darbo tikslas - regeneruoti pirmosios Vilniaus termofikacinės elektrinės teritoriją Rinktinės ir Žvejų gatvių sankryžoje, suprojektuojant joje modernų Mokslo ir technikos ekspozicijų centrą.Analitinės darbo dalies tiriamuoju objektu pasirinkti regeneruoti pramonės pastatai ir jų teritorijos, kurie naujai pritaikomi visuomenės poreikiams. Aptartos regeneracijos sąlygos, prielaidos ir būdai, sprendžiamos naujos ir senos architektūros santykio problemos.Mokslo ir technikos ekspozicijų centro projekte siūloma regeneruoti šią teritoriją, integruojant esamus elektrinės pastatus į bendrą ekspoziciją kaip energetikos pramonės eksponatą ir paveldą. Taip pat šiame centre projektuojamos aviacijos, transporto, laivybos, architektūros, statybos, elektronikos ekspozicijų salės, konferencijų salės ir edukacinis centras. Administracinis elektrinės pastatas skiriamas mokslo ir technikos leidinių bibliotekai. Naujai projektuojamas korpusas apjuosia vidinę aikštę iš kurios matoma Gedimino pilis. Šio korpuso architektūra lakoniška ir paprasta. Nugriautą elektrinės kaminą imituoja naujas kamino proporcijų bokštas, kuris naktį apšviečiamas ir tampa šio centro dominante.Projekte pateikti pastato architektūriniai sprendiniai (brėžiniai, maketai) ir architektūrinių, konstrukcijų bei inžinerijos sprendinių aiškinamasis raštas.
The task for the final master degree work is to design a modern Science and Technology exposition centre, regenerating the territory of the fist Vilnius thermal power station on the crossroad of Rinktinės and Žvejų streets.Regenerated industrial buildings and territories, are chosen to be the survey object of the analytic part of the work. In this part the conditions, assumptions and methods for regeneration, and the problems of the relationship between new and old architecture, are discussed. The project offers to regenerate the territory, integrating the existing power station buildings as the exhibit of energetic industry heritage. Besides that, aviation, transport, navigation, architecture, construction, electronic exposition halls, conference halls, educational classrooms are also designed in this centre. The library is located in the administrative power station building.A new block surrounds the square, which faces the Gediminas castle. The architecture of the new building is minimal. A tower, which imitates the demolished chimney, is illuminated at night, and plays the role of the dominant of this centre.The project contains drawings and models of the building and the text part with architectural, constructive and technical solutions.
