Baigiamajame magistro darbe nagrinėjamos menininkų kolonijos, jų raida nuo atsiradimo iki šių dienų, menininkų kolonijų aktualumas šiuolaikinėje visuomenėje. Nagrinėjant menininkų kolonijų reiškinį gilinamasi į ekspozicijų erdvių sandarą, kaip jose išreiškiamas menininko ir žiūrovo santykis. Taip pat gilinamasi į renovacijos temą, apleistų teritorijų bei pastatų regeneraciją, kuriant juose kultūros centrus.Surinkta informacija pritaikoma ruošiant apleisto Kauno taksi parko komplekso konversijos į menininkų koloniją projektą. Eksperimentinio projektavimo metu regeneruojamoje pramoninėje teritorijoje kuriamas kultūrinio traukos centro projektas. Projektuojant menininkų koloniją pagrindinis dėmesys skiriamas menininko ir žiūrovo santykiui, kuris išreiškiamas ekspozicijų erdvėse. Suprojektuotas daugiafunkcis kultūrinis centras, apjungiantis menininkus, studentus, verslininkus ir miesto bendruomenę.Darbą sudaro įvadas, analitinė ir praktinė - tiriamoji dalys, apibendrinimai ir išvados, šaltinių sąrašas, priedai, menininkų kolonijos projekto grafinė dalis, situacijos ir pastato maketai.
The master thesis is about artists' colonies, their development from the beginning to modern days, their relevance in our society. The research is mainly focused on exposition spaces, their structure and the relationship of the viewer and the artist in the exposition space. The thesis is also focused on the renovation possibilities of industrial areas. Regeneration of unused industrial buildings by transforming them into cultural centres.The information is used to prepare a reconstruction project of the abandoned Kaunas taxi parking complex into an artists' colony. During the experimental design process a project of a cultural centre is developed. The main focus in the project is on the relationship between the viewer and the artist that takes place in the exposition space. The result is a design of multifunctional cultural centre that encompasses artists, students, businessmen and the local community.The work consists of an introduction, analytical and research parts, conclusion, list of references, appendices, graphic part of the project and two architectural models: the area and the building.
