This Master's Degree Graduation Thesis is studying the life cycles of three heating systems with relation to energy, ecological, and economic aspects (3E). The study object covers a collector heating system, a two-pipe heating system, and a floor heating system designed for the same individual house located in Vilnius. The period of analysing these heating systems comprises the full life cycle of the building, that is 100 years. The following stages of the life cycle were examined by the method of life cycle analysis: the manufacture; transportation and distribution; application; maintenance and rennovation; processing and final disposal of materials. The heating systems were analysed to determine, which stage consumes the largest amount of primary energy and which stage mostly affects climate warming. The economic evaluation of the heating system was made as well. To compare the different systems without bias, the capacity of the building's heating system (12 kW) was taken as a functional unit. Analysis was performed by using the data obtained out of the database of specialized software SimaPro 7.0. After analysing the results obtained and assessing the possible impact factors, the heating systems were analysed by the multi-criteria method.
