Istorinio miesto struktūrizavimo modelis Biržų pavyzdžiu

Baigiamajame magistro darbe nagrinėjama istorinio miesto urbanistinė struktūra Biržų miesto pavyzdžiu. Biržai, kaip vienas iš unikalesnių Lietuvos miestelių, kuriame yra visi bruožai būdingi Europos istoriniam miestui - tai ir XV amžių menanti pilis, fortifikacinės sistemos frgamentai, skirtingo laikmečio urbanistinės struktūros mozaika ir t.t. Tačiau nepaisant šių reikšmingų istorinius etapus atspindinčių miesto audinio rudimentų, vis dar lieka opūs urbanistinės struktūros plėtojimo klausimai - visų pirma tai paties miesto identiteto klausimas, kurio pagrindas yra urbanistinės struktūros autentiškumas, jos išskirtinumas miesto kontekste, atskirų urbanistinių struktūrų fizinių ribų atpažįstamumo klausimas bei pačių teritorijos planavimo dokumentų prasilenkimas su realybe. Darbas atliktas analizuojant keliais pjūviais: analitiniame - metodiniame lygmenyje identifikuojama istorinio miesto samprata, jo urbanistinės struktūros sandara bei pagrindiniai miesto struktūros elementai; išskiriamos aktualios, mažai taikytos tyrimo metodikos, kur viena (fringe belt) jų panaudojama eksperimentinėje - tiriamojoje darbo dalyje modeliuojant miesto struktūrinį modelį. O remiantis Europos istorinių miestų pavyzdžiais ieškoma alternatyvų pagerinti Biržų miesto struktūrinį audinį. Respektuojant atrastą unikalią miesto urbanistinę struktūrą ir suteikiant jai naują kokybę eksperimentinėje projektinėje dalyje modeliuojama urbanistinė-architektūrinė koncepcija bei detalizuojama opiausia ir daugiausiai potencialo turinti miesto teritorija. Modeliuojama naujas urbanistinės struktūros frgamentas respektuojantis istorinį patekimą į miesto centrinę dalį (miesto vartus) pabrėžiant antrųjų gynybinių įtvirtinimų vietą kaip fizinę ribą tarp senamiesčio ir naujesnės miesto dalies.
The final masters thesis analyzing the urban structure of the historic city of the example Biržai town. Birzai is one of the unique Lithuanian towns, which has all the features of the European history city's - these are XVth century castle, the fortification system fragments, the mosaic of the urban structure of a different age, etc. Despite the rudiments of urban fabric, that reflects the historic stages of this important process there still remains important questions of the urban structure development- above all, the question of the identity of the city itself, which is based on the authenticity of the urban structure, its exclusivity in the context of the city, the question of recognizing the physical boundaries of a separate urban structure as well as the planning territory documents blurring to reality.The work was done by analyzing several cuts: analytical - methodological level identifies the concept of a historical city, it's urban structure of the whole as well as the main elements of urban structure; highlighting important, hardly used research methods, where one of them (fringe belt) is used in the experimental - research part while modeling the city's structural model. But on the basis of the Europe's historical cities has been looked for an alternative to improve the Birzai city's structural fabric. In recognition of the found unique urban structure of the city and giving it a new quality in the experimental design section has been modeled in a urban - architectural concept and detailed the most important and most potential having area of the town. A new urban structure fragment is modeled, respecting historical access to the central part of the city ( the gates of the city) marking the second protective/defensive fortifications as a physical boundary between the old city and the newer part of the city.
