Investigation of Investment Sources for Sustainability of European Union Countries
Darbo apimtis - 59 p. teksto be priedų, 5 paveikslai, 10 lentelių, 72 bibliografiniai šaltiniai.Pridedami priedai.
Sustainable development in modern society is developing and becoming more applicable at different levels such as global, country, business and household. At each level, there are different approaches, evaluation, financing and other factors that make or affect sustainable development. In order to achieve sustainable development fully, it is crucial to evaluate and ensure investment at all levels. However, a unified system is not defined. The work aims to investigate the impact of investment sources for sustainable development on a country's sustainable development. The literature analysis revealed that there is no uniform measurement of sustainable development at the country's level and no uniform form of investment sources that would influence this indicator. After the comprehensive assessment analysis, the Integrated Sustainable Development Index was chosen. The detailed analysis of each country's investment sources two sources of investment, - budget assignations and the European Union Structural Funds, were selected for the research. In the second part, the methodology of empirical research and structure is formed. In the third part, in order to determine which countries, have a visible relationship between sustainable development (expressed as the Integrated Sustainable Development Index) and the selected sources of investment a correlation regression analysis was performed. This relationship has also been tested with Johansen Cointegration Test to determine how variables interact (i.e. whether sustainable development affects investment sources or vice versa).Structure: introduction, theoretical part, methodological part, practical part, conclusions and suggestions, references.Thesis consist of: 59 p. text without appendixes, 5 figures, 10 tables, 72 bibliographical entries.Appendixes included.
