Darbo apimtis 57 lapai be priedų, 24 pav., 1 lent. 39 bibliografiniai šaltiniai, priedai.
In this work the search methods of the free path in real-time, operation principles, problems and their solutions are examined. The search for free path and the obstacles can facilitate orientation in the environment of the Blind and Visually Impaired. As well proposed methods can be applied in the robotics and the autonomous vehicles fields. Functionalities, operating principles, advantages and disadvantages of the already established travel aids are overviewed. In the implementation part of the research work new real-time path search and obstacle detection methods are introduced, their selection and further improvement suggestions are reasoned. Finally the results, advantages and disadvantages of developed aid are proposed. Research work structure: introduction, overview of the obstacle detection systems methods, creation of obstacle detection window, methods of the free path and obstacle detection in real-time, results and recommendations, conclusions and references. Thesis consists of 57 p. without appendixes, 24 pictures, 1 table and 39 bibliographical entries. Appendixes included.
