Abstract (en)

The facilities of geographical information systems (GIS) technologies for spatial decision-making were explored and adjusted to the problem of sustainable revitalization of derelict buildings. The model for preparation of initial data with GIS technologies for further analysis and calculations applying multi-attribute decision making techniques was proposed. Structure of a personal geodatabase of unused buildings was suggested and an example was implemented. Some data layers of sustainability indicators of a country were prepared and possibilities of data analysing and manipulation introduced. Simplified example of applying proposed techniques was presented.
