International maritime and trade policy and geopolitical initiatives, for example Blue Growth, Blue Economy, Ocean Economy 2030, One Road One Belt, insights and recommendation of researchers and practitioners base the important role of seaport economics for rise of the state competitive advantage. The traditional seaport conceptions, geographical, productivity, institutional etc., cannot fully explain the nowadays complexity of port operations in the face of maritime or international trade. The topic is relevant in the context of glocalization for small countries seeking sustainable development. The article analyzes the impact of the seaport economics on the country's competitive advantage in Baltic sea eastern coast states – Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The research methodology is based on multicriterial regresion analysis. The results of research can be useful in future formation of the seaport concept and the maritime transport sector.
