Abstract (en)

It has been established that the development of logistics services for trade and industrial companies in Lithuania will have a positive impact on the economic development of the country. Effective servicing of the transit transport flows in the existing transport corridors will add to upsurge in business in separate regions and the whole country, too. An increase in international transit traffic will also add to and boost activities of logistics services, thus inciting development of networks of logistics centres and transit products combined transportation; also, it will broaden the activity spectrum related to the third-party logistics services providers, especially in sectors of transportation, warehousing, and information technologies.
