International business is all business transactions - private and governmental - that involve two or more countries. Intermational business comprises a large and growing portion of the world's total business. Companies engage in international business fir three primary reasons: to expand their sales, to acquire resources, to diversify their sources of sales and supplies. International business has been growing rapidly in recent decades because of technological expansion, liberalisation of government policies on trade and recourses movements, development of institutions needed to support and facilitate international transactions, and increased global competition. Co-ordination of foreign trade and foreign economics with the international law system is an important element in trying to increase and stimulate international business and engage in ITO, are Lithuania's goals.
