Abstract (en)
Galvanic slimes (containing up to 46% Fe2O3 in dry mass) was used as ferriferrous component for red colour engobe production. It is formed by treating electrochemicaly pickled metal surface waste water using the electrocoagulation method. Engobe products and engobes with galvanic slimes or pigments made form it and for comparision - Fe2O3 was investigated in this paper. An appraisal of the used galvanic slimes decontamination reliability is given.
