Bioengineering has hugely advanced in recent years with the rise of technology, medicine and resources, especially in medical diagnostics, robotics in healthcare, artificial intelligence in medicine, biomaterials, rehabilitation engineering, and assistive technology. The aim of this Special Issue is to create a community of authors and readers who will discuss the stateof-the-art research and develop new ideas and research directions in biomedical engineering with a special focus on biomechanics, biomaterials, and artificial intelligence. To this end, we invite papers on new trends in biomedical engineering.
