Risk is an integral element of any economical work. It is impossible to avoid, therefore, it is necessary to be capable to estimate and minimize it. Over the past several years, financial institutions had focused on developing sophisticated tools to measure market risk and credit risk. Today, operational risk has become another critical aspect in risk capital allocation. This article deals with operational risk, actuality of its management in companies.
