In the presented paper there is analyzed the essence and development of socially reponsible mutual funds and investment srategies, also there is made a review of socially responsible market in the United States and Europe, empasizing the speciality of the market in the Baltic States. Presented socially responsible mutual fund market trend analysis might be leading to the further potential scientific researches and analysis such as socially responsible mutual fund performance and risk analysis, the effect of SRI on portfolio performance and possible variations of the further development trends.
