Abstract (en)

On the basis of analysis by chronometering pedestrian movement in residential streets, 4 categories of local streets are suggested: 1 st - for the pedestrian movement only the service transport speed is limited to 5-7 km/h; 2 nd - crossroads and roads of access to separate houses (speed of transport is limited to 25 km/h, flow of cars is less than 150 car/h); 3 rd - streets (flow of cars no more than 300 car/li, the traffic speed 35 km/h; technical safety means for children are recommended); 4 th - distributing streets in residential districts (traffic speed more than 45 km/h, marked pedestrian passing zones are recommended).
