Abstract (en)

The paper reviews the influence of basic natural topography on the visual space of the Neris river valley as well as its terraced overgrown slopes sorrounding the center of the city and predermining its significant role over the urban landscape of Vilnius. Multiplan panoramic sights organize the urban compositional axis. Architectural objects destroy the plastic model of the site.
