Abstract (en)

The extent of renovation in Lithuania is increasing every year. Many of renovation processes have the same goals-to improve functionality, safety and comfort characteristics of buildings. In achieving these goals it is very important to consider cultural- historical, ecological and economical aspects that should be inter-adjusted. Modern technologies penetrate many fields of activities and application of innovative information technologies is not excluded in the process of building renovation as well. In the paper the possibilities of the web-based decision support systems for sustainable renovation are reviewed and the descriptions of the most popular abroad systems are presented.
