Darbe buvo tirta sunkiuju metalu (Cr, Pb) kaupimasis dirvožemyje geležinkelio atkarpoje Jur –Kazlu Ruda. Šiuo keliu kiekviena diena važiuoja 40 traukiniu. Atkarpa yra apie 4 kilometrus. Bandiniai buvo paimti iš panašaus lygio, kaip ir yra pats geležinkelis. Kod l reljefas itaka daro teršalu pasiskirstymui dirvožemyje ir anksciau nebuvo ištirta. Keletas tyr ju nustat , kad intensyviausiai teršalai kaupiasi nuo sanitarin s apsaugos zonos (SAZ) iki geležinkelio. Mes pasirinkome tirti ivairius atstumus nuo geležinkelio (10 m, 50 m, 10 m ir 200 m). Dirvožemio m giniai buvo paimti iš abieju geležinkelio pusiu. Sunkiuju metalu: švino (Pb), chromo (Cr) koncentracija buvo tiriama atomin s absorbcin s spektrofotometrijos budu su oro– acetileno liepsna grafito krosnyje. Sunkiuju metalu koncentracijos rezultatai parod , kad vidutin s fonin s reikšm s Marijampol s regione atstumu iki sanitarin s apsaugos zonos 100 m yra viršijamos.
Railway section Kazlu Ruda – Jur was selected for soil pollution with heavy metals investigations due big intensity of train transport in this section: about 40 trains pass this section per day. The distance of this section is about 4 km. Sampling places were in the similar soil level as railway bed. That is why relief’s influence to pollutants dispersion in many soil sampling places was very small and was not evaluated. Different distance from railway bed was selected (10, 50, 100, and 200 m) for research. Sampling was carried out in both sides of railway ground. The range Jure – Kazlu Ruda was chosen because of big intensity of train’s transport in this range. In this range are no houses, nobody live, just around forest, grass and no agriculture. For that reason was chosen this range, that to evaluate heavy metals pollution from railway transport that would be the lowest impact from other sources (industry, town and etc.).
