Modem technology is aften considered a major cause of dehumanization, materialism, standardization, levelling of cultures and individuals. It is also blamed of being not natural and causing people to change their traditional way of life. Investigations have shown that technology is really threatening people and their way of life to some extent. But, on the other hand, the necessity arises to reconsider such traditional concepts as “natural”, “natural way of life”,’’tradition”, “human nature”, etc. Only having done this revision it would be possible to determine the trends of technological development and assess the potential treats as well as new exciting possiblities which it may bring to human beings and their existence.
